The Initiative on Climate and Social Policy (CSP)
The Initiative on Climate and Social Policy (CSP) functions to marshal the resources of Rutgers University in the social sciences and the humanities to address the challenges posed by global warming, greenhouse gasses and the reduction of carbon emissions. Its mission is to conduct research, education and public service to better understand how both state and national political institutions can respond to these challenges.
New Jersey Energy Data Center
The New Jersey Energy Data (NJ EDC) with funding from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, is a data collection and processing tool for New Jersey policy makers, businesses, educators, and citizens. We provide objective data, forecasts, and analyses to help inform energy-related policy decisions in the Garden State. The data provided helps to promote public understanding regarding energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment.
Rutgers Energy Institute
The Rutgers Energy Institute (REI) integrates Rutgers’ expertise in science, engineering, economics, and policy, putting it at the forefront of alternative energy research. At this critical juncture in history, we have the opportunity to transition from 20th-century technologies to those that sustain economic growth and preserve the integrity of our environment.
